Great Blank DVD's

These are probably the best inexpensive DVD's you can buy. I have used about 400 of them so far. Maybe 1 at the most out of every 100 pack is "bad", IF THAT. I pop these in and my computer immediately recognizes them and burns quick. I've tried several other brands, and the computer takes longer to recognize and they all have a higher percentage of bad discs in the batch. And the front of these discs are basically plain, with just a very small memorex logo and "dvd+r" written. That may not matter much to some people, but i hate when my back ups look like blank dvds with brand names and writing all over them. These are just plain simple discs that work 99% of the time or more. They come in a pretty solid plastic spindle that you can keep for storing your backups if necessary too. I've burned probably 800+ dvds, and these are my first choice, you cant beat the combination of price and quality.
Great buy! 100% worked perfectly

I've been using Memorex DVD+R 16x discs for about 6-7 years now and although they are concidered to be a lower quality of DVD out there in the market place I have to say I've never had much problems with them. I've burned well over 600 of these DVD-R's and I have only had 3-4 failures which is a very small amount considering the numbers and the price of these discs.

Overall I am 100% pleased with these discs and will definately continue to purchase them as they work perfectly for my situation. I also use them to burn Game Development Software that I created and ship the DVD to customers that purchase my software. I have never been contacted by a customer that couldn't use the DVD+R so they are highly compatible with other DVD drives.

I've used them on a ASUS Server PC burning DVD Videos, and Data discs. I've used them on my Toshiba Laptop to burn DVD Videos and Data discs. Finally I've just stated using them with my Acer Aspire One AO725-0899 to burn data and backup discs and they have worked perfectly with my 3 systems.

I have discs that I've burned 6-7 years back and they still work 100% in all of the various PC based systems that I've upgraded to over the years, so they are very compatible with other systems and not just limited to the system that they were burned on.
Good quality blank discs

I've been using this brand exclusively for the past five years. The look of the packaging has occasionally changed as well as the label and to be honest I don't know who manufactures these or where. I do know that I have successfully burned over 2000 discs. This is the first review I have written on these and ironically it comes right after the first issues I have EVER had burning. About halfway through the last spindle the disc's started failing to burn .. but retrying with a second disc worked every single time. After spending far too much time googling, updating software and firmware the fix was simply to manually set the burning speed to 4x instead of allowing it to self detect the max speed. Seriously - burning at 4x takes less than 5 minutes more than at 16x for a 4.7gb burn so it was not a big deal. After setting the speed to 4x every burn was successful. As for those reviews that say they burned a disc and then the disc was skipping during playback - I assume they mean video playback and in my opinion the skipping is probably an encoding issue and not a media issue. Like I stated before, I have burned over 2000 discs in the past 5 years and have less than a dozen coasters so it isn't rocket science.
