These are actually better than the "Real" San Marzano Tomatoes

These are not imported from the Sam Marzano area. They are a san marzano "Type" of tomato. But these are actually better in taste and quality that the "real thing" as proven in many blind taste. They are a Simpson Brand product. Grown in New Jersy where that area is known for producing great tomatoes. "America's Test Kitchen" on KERA just picked this as the best tasting canned tomato. The only problem is they are hard to find.

These are not real. Real San Marnzanos are from that specific region in Italy and are marked certified D.O.P.
These are the same seeds but grown in California. They should not be this expensive if they are not the real thing.
