Bottle is labeled BROWN, but the color is much closer the "rich red" color they also have available

The color sprayed on doesn't really match the color in the pictures, which is unfortunate. It's far more red than I'd like it to be. I assumed that multiple coats would make it a bit more brown, but even after the 3rd coat the mulch is still red.
So now half my yard is red and I guess I'm going to have to paint the entire thing red now which isnt what I wanted to do. So if you're planning on buying the brown color, do note it's more of a dark red then it is a brown.

Put 40 bags of a pine & eucalyptus mulch mix in a red color only to find out later it was not approved by HOA. Did some internet searches and found this product. Used tank sprayer with 3 gal of water mixed with 12 oz of product and I now have a rich brown mulch that isn't sold anywhere. All my neighbors want to know where I got the mulch. They can't believe that I colored existing mulch. The sprinklers have been on three times and the color is still holding. I have plenty of product left so I can easily spray another coat. Really easy to spray but be aware it is a little messy. I used surgical gloves.

Ideal solution to enhance the appearance of your yard on a budget!! The colorant was easy to mix and apply. My mulch beds were instantly transformed into bold and rich color. I highly recommend this product!!

Product was easy to use and looked great initiallly after two coats. Color faded quickly after rain the following week. Still looks better than the mulch did before treatment but I wish the color would have stayed dark.
