It is not smokeless... I think it is fine but I feel like the flame is not that powerful and way too expensive for its value.

Great little Yakiniku grill! Small and easy to use. I wish it had a little more power (slow to cook when a lot of meat is on the top). Easy to clean and store. Well made construction.

I love it!
If you live in Japan you can purchase this item for half the price at Don Quixote.
But outside of Japan the price is acceptable since you won't get the same quality or ease of use anywhere else.
Just make sure you buy the Iwatani gas canisters or cassette.
