I was never a person that believed the quality of sunglasses made a large enough difference to justify the price differences that exist. Then a friend gifted a pair of $200 glasses for a birthday several years ago. Of course those were cute and I found them a fun accessory, but once I put them on driving on an incredibly sunny day I was shocked that there really was a difference in lense quality! I wasn't squinting in the strongest light and while I didn't think that sun hurt my eyes, I found a surprising comfort after wearing proper uv protection. So needless to say I was in love and instead of going through $10 Walgreens glasses every few months, I was treasuring this name brand pair. I treated them with such care that they might have been royalty. Then one fateful day, Cracked by the careless closing of a car door!! Tears! $200 just felt extravagant but I was accustomed to quality. Well with an upcoming float trip and just days to get a pair, I didn't want to rush into paying for a name brand that didn't fit perfectly or would fall into the water on this trip so I turned to Amazon's two day shipping and google lense quality ratings. I picked the shape most similar to my crushed pair.

These came and provided the same quality protection from the sun! I barrowed a friends Walgreens brand to make sure it wasn't all in my head- and nope, lense quality still makes a difference. Somehow this overseas set is able to offer the highest lense quality without the price tag. And the large frames perfectly compliment my round face. I ordered a second pair and cancelled my trip to the mall (probably saving way more than just the glasses, as I am sure that cute outfit in the window, the fun shoes, or sale that required my eyes would have further emptied my wallet). I have one pair in the car and one in my purse. Two years after the first purchase, I finally broke one of these (honestly can't say if that expensive pair trained me or if these are just durable but I am guessing the later). I ordered my third pair and same great quality!

I'd ordered these before. But then I left them at a pool party and then the pool party person decided that maybe the belonged to friend of friend and now friend that I don't know has them, and I don't know how to politely ask for them back. And I'd had them a few years, they had some scratches, so I figured a new pair would not be wasted.

So I got them. And second pair, red. They were a difference size, but, like, mm different... so I wasn't concerned.

Like the arm length is shorter and it pokes into the side of my head unpleasantly. Super cute, though. And the red pair have awesome driving lenses (sun protection, but like tinted slightly yellow/orange so the world is clearer).

I'm keeping them for emergency backup driving glasses. 5 stars for purple pair of awesome, 3 stars for wrong sized red pair of potential delight.

An amazin surprise. These shades are the best thing I could wish for the dollars spent on them. Yes, they are plasticky, yes they are light weight, yes they have a not so nice feel to them when opening the leg of the shades to put them on...BUT they're the perfect dupe of my favorite pair of shades which is discontinued by Tiffany's years ago. I've put hundreds and hundreds of dollars in repairing them annually with prescription + polarized lenses and just got tired of doing that. These are about the same shape, just slightly bigger, about as big as the square Marc Jacobs shades and sitting nicely on my face. I was looking for hummangus shades which would cover my eyes and the sides of them for Miami sun and got just that, very happy with this temporary-backup-save-my-ass-pair. I wont be using the case much, but it's surprisingly well made for the price of shades too, I think it can be sold for 15$ by itself. Get these babies if you need *full coverage* â'¡

It's a little bit bigger than I would have liked, but it's cute and polarized-- I'm happy with it though. I measured my face as a reference for anyone else interested in these sunglasses. I measured from where my hairline starts at the middle of my face down to my chin and it came out to 7 inches.

I purchased mine in July of 2015 (now January 2016) and they're still perfect! Perfect for my round head, that's for sure. I bought the brown and I loved the two-tone. The right lens starting popping out upon impact (being tossed by a two year old, etc.), but goes right back in as if it never came out. Looking to purchase another pair but not sure what color. Great value, great product!
