As I've gotten deeper into my thirties, my skin texture has become more bumpy and less "fresh". I don't like using lots of chemicals so I've tried a variety of products over the years to find something that worked. I LOVE these products! I use the soap on my face everyday. The charcoal would probably dry out your skin if used alone, but I always follow up with the oil. It's light, not greasy and leaves my face feeling so fresh! It's been about two weeks and I can definitely tell a difference in my skin texture, which is a first for any beauty product! My allergies are pretty bad and I have sensitive skin. I haven't had any reactions to the ingredients or smell. Worth the money for sure!
