We will have to wait for our new gutters to be installed before putting this up, but so far I think it is okay. It won't be used in its entire length because of where it is going to be attached, so I hope its light weight won't cause it to flail about very much. It's not high quality, but we will see how it does and 'upgrade' later.

I have been looking for months for a rain chain for our screen porch for me to enjoy. The only problem is that the porch is 3 feet off the ground which meant I needed over 10 feet. Unfortunately I didn't have $200+ to spend on the coat of a 8.5 ft chain plus extender which cost almost as much. Solution? I ordered 2 of the 6 foot chains and connected them (super easy) and Viola' 12 feet for almost half the price. I even have a few extra peices now in case one gets damaged. I can't say anything else yet since its only been a week and we've had no rain yet. I'll update again. I also buried the last cup in the flower pot with rocks (Which I had both laying around= $0.00😊) I may spray it to keep the copper color.

I built a water feature using a stock tank, arbor and pump sending water up to these chains. We love sitting on the patio watching the water drain down these with the subtle noise in the background. The price to quality ratio is very high. Buy these!

Kudos to Miguel for over the top customer support. Had a question regarding combining two chains and within an hour had a reply with attached videos on what to do. Our rain chain has been hanging for a couple of weeks now. It has been unseasonably dry so enlisted the aid of a garden hose. The runoff from the gutter poured down over the rain chain as it was meant to right into a downspout splash we installed. Looking forward to early fall when the rain returns so we will be able to view and hear the falling rain. Simply a charming addition to the backyard.
