I am so grateful I found this lot! I struggle to find it in stores nearby. I use it after Regenerest Exfoliating Wash, twice daily. It tightens the pores and takes the wash a step farther, getting the last of what the wash (or washer) may have missed. I also mix it with water and take it with me when I am going to be outdoors or somewhere else I may become shiny, either spritzing directly on my face or dabbing with a round cotton pad. I've been using this product for at least 15 years and when I am out I definitely can see the difference in my pores, and feel the difference in the balance of my skin. Not at all harsh or "stripping." Light, clean scent that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Preps for additional products, leading to better moisturizer absorbtion and smooth makeup application!
