great inexpensive R/C for short attention kids
T. C.✓ Verified Purchase•November 4, 2023
This is a great inexpensive R/C vehicle which a young child could play with without damaging it. I've been toying with it myself to test it out for my nephew before repackaging it and wrapping it for xmas. Even though the bucket isn't controllable, it is at the very least functional enough to learn control of the device. I've been "cleaning" up dust and chasing my dogs with it. I have yet to play with it in materials like dirt, sand, and stones, but, so long as the material is loose and not dense, i'm sure it won't be a problem.
If traction is a concern for customers, just put some wide rubber bands on the wheels to improve it, very much like snow chains.
Also, the usb charger possesses a overcharge protection feature, once the battery is charged, it stops.

Nice
Cool scale look and shovel and some parts are metal
Man Machines & Boy Toys✓ Verified Purchase•September 13, 2023
Pretty fun little front loader that is made with plastic and some metal parts. It has a nice scale true to life look and is easy to control. No proportional control and can't lift anything with a little weight but can handle loose dirt and light stuff with no problems. Wish it had tank style tractor wheels but what it has gets the job done. As for kids (whom it might be intended for), they love it!
Well Built

Being made of metal and plastic, this toy is well made, and is quite durable. The controls all work well, and the movements are smooth.
This toy would have a 5 star rating if only the bucket tilted up higher. The buckets movement/position is dependent with the position of the arms. Unfortunately, the bucket does not tilt up enough to hold most things in. Combined with the slick metal surface, nearly everything falls out of the bucket, as the arm raises. There is no point to where the bucket is tilted up high emough to keep anything securely from falling out.
All in all, it's still a fairly fun toy, despite it's design flaw to actually hold things in the bucket.
