Mr Shield had ONE job...

Even though the 3-pack screens are more affordable, they do not last very long as they shatter pretty easily. For the past few months since I purchased the screens, I installed the third & final screen as the other two screens either collect dusts easy during installment or crack in the corners out of the blue without being dropped. I drop my phone over a dozen times and it never got cracked or shattered marks. Until one day, I dropped my phone as it was planted screen down on hard, concrete floor and the screen underneath cracked but not the screen protector (!?). I rarely write a negative review but these screen protectors did not do its job of protecting my iPhone screen. There was no cracks or shatters on the screen protector but my phone screen is completely cracked terribly. Time to go on my first trip the phone screen repair shop...
Don't get this if you drop your phone a lot

Okay, so I drop my phone often, it's a problem. I came to this product thinking it was a great deal and I could finally have a solution to my butterfingers. I gave one to my boyfriend and used the other two for myself. The first I used cracked within two weeks; I dropped my phone a maximum of 3 times then. The second lasted about a month or two before cracking but I kept it on because it was still useable and only cracked very lightly. I dropped my phone maybe a maximum of 10 more times and then, just a day or two ago (8 months from purchase date), I dropped my phone again and instead of the protector cracking more, my whole screen broke!!!! Totally don't recommend these. Also my boyfriend's cracked within 2-3 months of him using it and he drops his phone maybe once a year. The glass is certainly thick but is still susceptible to breakage easily it seems. After paying $150+ to replace my phone screen, I'd much rather pay an extra $5-10 for a better screen protector.

My wife and I recently escaped from 1980 and just bought our first Smart Phones, an iPhone 6S for me and an iPhone 6S Plus for her.
Obviously, I'd never installed screen protectors before. A few notes:
- I ordered the Mr. Shield tempered glass 5-pack for the 6S Plus and the 3-pack for the 6S.
- The screen protectors fit these two iPhones in the same way, leaving the slightest amount of unprotected screen all the way around.
- I watched the Mr. Shield YouTube installation video, which shows 2 SIDE hinges and when I opened the boxes, the included documentation shows 2 BOTTOM hinges.
- I installed the larger 6S Plus first using two SIDE hinges and followed the cleaning procedure as detailed. The protector laid just SLIGHTLY crooked, you'd have to look closely to see it. I had to use the included card to work out a large bubble in the center.
- Next I installed the protector on the smaller 6S using two BOTTOM hinges and followed the cleaning procedure as detailed. The protector laid perfectly and without any bubbles.
- I then put a Luvvitt case on each phone, which fit perfectly and didn't interfere with the screen protector, thanks to that tiny edge that the protector leaves all the way around.

Just installed my Mr Shield screen protector. On the basis of price, packaging, and the installation process alone I'm rating it a 5. I was not looking forward to the installation process on the basis of my past experience with other protectors - nothing wrong with the protectors, I just couldn't get the thing on straight and got air bubbles, etc. I figured I would have the same issues this time. I was pleasantly surprised by the instructions and little implements that are included in the 3-pack. (My 3-pack also included a pointer to a YouTube video demo of installation but I didn't need that.) I saw that other reviewers found the hinge approach difficult but for me it was shockingly easy. The whole deal struck me as really thoughtful - written instructions are clear and the install method is clever; everything that could facilitate a clean install is included (e.g. hinge stickers, cleaning pad, dust remover, bubble remover; there's an online video demo for anyone needing help; the customer service promised seems pretty extensive. (I haven't needed that yet, lol.) No issues with the protector itself either (didn't break, no cracks, no discoloration/rainbowing). Good job Mr Shield.

Overall the glass screen protector served its purpose. Installation was simple enough as long as you follow the directions. I like this particular brand not only because the packaging includes everything needed for installation but should you want to follow along with a video installation, you can. The information to access the video is also listed on the packaging. The only downside to this screen protector is that for some reason it's not adhering around the edges. I don't know why, I follow the installation instructions precisely and no there is no lint, dust, or dirt present underneath those areas that may prevent it from adhering. Maybe it was just this particular set of three that the adhesive wasn't as strong as it should be. Overall, it's a good buy for the money, and just be aware of the adhesive issue.
