Perfect addittion to the "Be Our Guest" room!

It's adorable; I wished it played more than the "tale as old as time" part. The glow and opening of the rose is a smidge cheesy but for my purpose it's fine. The guest room at our place is total "be our guest" so I have plushes of Cogsworth, Lumiere and Fifi as well as a Mrs. Potts and Chip tea set plus the hand mirror and a stained glass scene in the window. I also have "real" stuff that matches as close as possible to the Disney characters like a gold candelabra and a wooden coat rack and an burgundy ottoman footstool. It's also where all of my read/collectible books live too! About 50% of the people get it - everyone else is like ummm why is this a kids room? I can't help it - it's fun!

This product was just absolutely perfect for my best friend who is in love with anything that's Beauty and The Beast related! (Note: we're in our 20's). There are 2 or 3 modes (I can't remember for sure). One mode is for the lights only, one mode is for music tune only (maybe) & the last mode is for the tune & lights together. When you pull out the little compartment, it activates the petals movement (I think it might also activate the lights too). The little music tune doesn't last long, it's only for about 5 seconds of the song A Tale As Old As Time. But this product does come w/ batteries included, which is nice! Overall, she loved it & I'm happy I bought it.
EDIT: I read in the Q&A's that one of the modes does play the entire song.

Very beautiful and made the perfect gift for my 6 year old. However, I really wish it played the whole song or at least more than the 5 second snipet it plays. When your kid presses the button over and over again that 5 second snipet gets real old real quick. That being said , it's gorgeous and they haven't broken it yet so it's a win!

Well I feel dumb for not looking hard enough to realize there are different modes located on the bottom. There is the snipet, a mute with just light, and a longer musical (but no words) version. This certainly warrants the last star in my opinion. Now I can totally switch it to mute when I get tired of it and hopefully my kids aren't smart enough to figure that out!

Four year old daughter LOVED this gift for birthday. She carries it all around the house and plays the music all day. It is very beautiful to look at as well.

Very cheaply made. This does not play the Beauty and the Beast theme. It plays approximately 2-3 bars of the song after pushing a button. Colors, craftsmanship.....total disappointment. Did not give this as a gift.
