Bottom line is that this product works. I changed my oil in Mercruiser 4.5L 200HP pretty quick after warming the engine and running antifreeze for winterization. Suction was plentiful running manually without the need for compressed air. Dumping the used oil was easy and mess free. Good quality of materials which should lend to several years of use.

It worked. Pumping the handle created suction pulling oil out. Had to repump several times over 1/2 hour. Hooked the pnumatic function up to the air compressor but didn't notice anything happened. No directions and if self evident it didn't work for me as many others reported being pleased with the pneumatic method for sucking up the fluid.

This thing is great makes changing transmission fluid easy without having to climb up the car. One tip is to change it cold and mark the container level with a piece of tape. Then empty the used fluid completely out of the container and refill it with new fluid to the same level. Next pour the new fluid back into the car from the container. This way keeps the fluid level the same without having to drive the vehicle and heat up the fluid to check the level. Basically you put in exactly what you take out.

I use this product to suction the oil out of my jetskis for oil changes yearly. In the past, I used a manual suction tank that I had to constantly pump to remove the oil from the pan and pto. It was a pain and I am usually doing this in the Florida sunshing/heat. Old nasty oil going everywhere, heat, and malfunctioning tools are a recipe for anger. I saw this pump and noticed it was a bit more for the air compressor fitting, but as I have a compressor I gave it a shot. Arrival and packaging were top notch. It came with all the parts I needed so I hooked everything up and flipped the switch. PURE MAGIC. The compressor creates vacuum and all of the old oil was sucked out in a matter of a few minutes. No mess, no constant pumping, no swearing. It was amazing. Old oil is collected in the canister and I just take the whole thing to the recycling center to dump. Great product and a game changer for oil changes. I am also going to use on my lawnmower and kids go kart when the time comes. No mess oil changes are the only way to go.

I love this pump everything works perfectly fine with it. The most I love about it is the size I was able to extract all oil at once and my car uses about 8 quarts of oil. I have a Q7 can't recommend it enough.
