I use it to take the cat to the vet only! She likes it. It's the only carrier I've had that I didn't have to fight her to get in, but I wouldn't leave her in it long term. It is a soft sided carrier so it's not meant to be sturdy. It was strange to put together, but I figured it out quickly enough. I like that the entrance hole is bigger than the hard cat carriers. She's only 9 pounds so I didn't want to get a bigger plastic one just cause she's a pain in the butt! 🤣

My parents unwittingly adopted a Kitty who showed up meowing at their doorstop. They fed him so he's been sticking around. With two-day delivery this arrived just in time for me to use for him. Off we went to take the little guy to get neutered and get shots and the little guy won me over. Back to the carrier. I like that it's nylon and not hard plastic; since he's not getting into an airplane this is perfect. Our guy doesn't weigh too much, but he is an adult cat and he fit very comfortably in this carrier. I placed a towel on the bottom for comfort and it worked out great for all car transports.

So pleased with this carrier! I needed one very quickly due to having to move with two cats who don't like traveling together, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on one, and I'm so glad I went with this one over the others I was looking at on Prime. It arrived in two days, and it's even bigger than I was picturing. I love that it can be completely unzipped to lie flat, as it helped me get the cat accustomed to seeing it out before taking my life in my hands to get her into it. The shoulder strap is removable, a nice option, and there's even a lil fuzzy mat inside that can be removed if needed but is a nice touch as well. The zipper does stick a bit, but that's to be expected for the bargain price. I plan on replacing my other carrier with one for the second cat ASAP. (For reference, I bought the large size, and it's got just enough room that I don't feel terrible putting a large adult cat in it.)

I will be buying more of these to give as gifts. I just moved to the 8th floor of a high rise apartment. I had not anticipated the possibility of an emergency evacuation when I placed my traditional pet carrier in the basement storage. When the fire alarm went off I realized I would have to hold my cat in my arms if I had to evacuate (fortunately I didn't). The next day, after researching, I decided to order the EliteField Deluxe Soft Pet Carrier. It is the perfect solution. It folds flat for easy storage and assembly is quick and easy. The carrier is designed with a good ratio of solid fabric to ventilation weave so that my cat feels safely hidden but still has sufficient air circulation. The base of the carrier is solid but it is covered with soft fleece and there is an inside tether to attach to a harness. Both the handle and the shoulder strap are well padded for easy carrying. I chose the fluorescent green on black for reflective purposes.

I bought one of these carriers about a year ago, and since it's held up so perfectly, I recently bought another when I got a second cat. It's the best carrier I've owned. My 3-yr-old cat (who tends to claw and bite at the mesh when she's been in there long enough) somehow hasn't managed to put a hole in it, so A+ on material! It's well designed and roomy on the inside. Had to air it out when I first got it, as you do, but because it unzips completely and lays out flat, the process of getting that "brand new" smell out was quick. I just left it in front of a window with a good breeze for a day or two, and it was good to go. The zipper glides smoothly, so it goes together again easily; no struggling with it. I leave the newer carrier set up and sitting out, and the kitten likes to nap in it. The other one is flat against a wall in my closet, taking up no space at all!
