Great Deal- Perfect Stroller
Pugmom✓ Verified Purchase•February 23, 2024
This is a great stroller & bike trailer. Both of our dogs have trouble walking long distances and definitely could not keep up if we wanted to go jogging or biking, so this is perfect. We actually already have a Petzip dog roller that they both manage to fit inside of (1 dog is around 60lb, the other is in the mid 20's). It's a tight fit, so we were hoping for something larger. After seeing the large labradors inside the Sepnine Trailer in some reviews online we figured this should work. The price for this trailer is fantastic first of all. Some trailers can cost somewhere between $300-$500, & yes they are nice, but we just needed something simple that worked (& hopefully not too terrible looking). The Sepnine Trailer is great.
I was a little wary of bike trailers that can also work as strollers since they always have that odd 3rd wheel sticking out of the front. It never seems to look normal. This one was nicer looking and pulled farther in than most. Then there's the size and fold-down factor. After all, you're probably going to be porting this around in your car so it needs to fit & fold easily. When the stroller was first fully constructed, I was a little surprised at how large it actually was. It feels like the biggest small chariot we could've found for our dogs. Both dogs fit in perfectly side by side (instead of having to be crammed one in front of the other like in our smaller stroller) and they both can also lay down if everyone is in the right spot.
I was also concerned that there wasn't much of a weather guard since there are mesh screens on all sides of the trailer. However, I walked them in the misting rain and found that the water just pills down the coated mesh (vs. dripping right through). The top also seems to be water-proof or water-resistant. When I pack this in the car, the 2 back wheels easily come off when you push a metal button on their axle and the front wheel slides off (secured also by a screw). The handle bars come off with easy removal of a couple latches that are included (be sure to keep these attached or you can easily lose them). The main compartment that holds the dogs also folds down on each side to make a 2 &1/2 by 3 ft, 4' deep rectangular shape that you can easily fit into most trunks. Though it feels like a lot of construction & deconstruction for a trip to the park, I timed myself putting it together and it only takes something like 2-3 minutes. Not as bad as it seemed.
We've also taken the trailer on a couple of bike rides and the the dogs really like it. The wheels are perfect for going over small bumps. I wondered if there would be a lot of problems, but this thing rides really smoothly. It also makes for great jogging. In our normal stroller the dogs feel much heavier, but this one makes it much easier to push with the inflated tires and the cushioned handle bar (just fyi- you do need an airpump for initial inflating). I like that they seem a little more comfortable in this trailer.
After looking through so many strollers & bike trailers, we are very happy this one worked out. It's easy to use, a great fit & definitely a great buy.

Very good value

What I like: very well made, all the parts were there, parts needing to be assembled were minimal, sturdy, large wheels, very spacious interior, my dog took to it right away (I put her bed, toy, and chew in there).
There are no negatives, just tweaks. The instructions are well-written and make sense, but they're not comprehensive and remedial enough (for example, I have no idea where the caution flags are supposed to go). Additionally, the front wheel should swivel for easier navigation. Finally, my front wheel needs an alignment because the wagon pulls ever so slightly to the left. Roads have a crown to them for drainage purposes, so I thought it was the slight incline causing the drift. But it happens no matter what side we're on.
Overall, a very nice product. There's good value here.

This trailer is a godsend for our soon to be 8 year old rescue dog Bentley. She was born with hip dysplasia and has arthritis in her shoulders.
Bentley loves (loved) walking the neighborhood and marking her territories as well as being social.
Over the last two years these simple tasks became more painful as well as depilating for her. I as well missed the fresh air and exercise from walking her. I did some research and decided to invest in this large pet dog trailer. Bentley was afraid of it at first, but with in a couple of day's she
loves it! She walks a couple of properties and does her business and gets right in her carriage. Then I continue to walk her around the neighborhoods. I gave it four stars instead of 5 because it need a few tweaks. The front wheel needs to have a swivel feature making it easier to steer and turn while pushing it. It also needs brakes ( manual like a wheel chair would be good). A water bottle for dogs could attach to the frame.
I also think it would better serve my purpose ( as well as others) if there was storage for cups, flash light, leash, poop bags and cell phone. I found a baby jogger stroller that sell's an attachment for all of these items from Booyah and it's serving this purpose with this Sepnine large pet dog bike trailer. Like I mentioned it needs a few tweaks, but a great idea and Bentley and I are back to taking our walks everyday.

Good pet stroller, but not as heavy duty as previous models
ServalCat✓ Verified Purchase•December 30, 2023
I bought a previous model of this stroller 2 years ago, and there have been some updates to this new model. The fabric it is made with is not as heavy duty as my older model. If you have a pet that does NOT want to be in this stroller, they can tear through the fabric with their nails and get out. So they need to be trained to behave inside the stroller or they can tear it up in no time and escape. The fabric is similar to the canvas fold down pet crates if you are familiar with those, but perhaps a little thinner than those--so if a canvas crate will not hold your pet, neither will this. It's fine as long as your pet enjoys being in the stroller.
The bottom of the stroller is just a thin plastic fabric hung from side rails with bolts. If the weight inside is too much the fabric can easily rip from these bolts. The bottom of the stroller only has a flimsy piece of plastic and there is only one metal support bar underneath towards the back side of the stroller to help support the weight inside. The older model has 3 metal bars on the underside and a heavier plastic floor, which I am more comfortable with being able to hold the sated weight. So if you have a heavier pet inside it, all the weight is just hanging by this fabric bolted to side poles. I was not comfortable that this floor design lacking support or that the thin fabric can hold the weight claimed in the item description, so I cut a piece of plywood to fit the floor to make it sturdier and distribute the weight more evenly.
This model came with 2 different types of front wheels, which I did not expect as it was not in the item description. One is the bigger wheel which fixed and does not swivel so you have to kind of drive the stroller sometimes by tilting the stroller back, lifting the front wheel off the ground, when you need to make turns or curves. But I was pleased to find it also came with a small front wheel that swivels in any direction, and it steers so much better so that you do not have to tilt the stroller back to make turns. I thought I would like the swivel wheel better. However, I found that without having any weight on the front of the stroller that anytime my pet gets into the stroller from the back, the cart tips backwards over on my pet. I decided this was not safe for my pet and put the big front wheel back on. The stroller does not tip over backwards when my pet gets in and out of the stroller with the big wheel on so I will just have to deal with the tilting to steer it instead.
Another difference in the old and new model, the old model has the solid clear plastic covers on the front and back of the stroller. This new model only has the solid clear plastic cover on the front of the stroller. The back side only has the netting. not a big deal
But overall it is a decent stroller and I suspect it is no less quality than the more expensive strollers of the same size. They all look just about the same in the photos in their item descriptions. I liked the older model that I bought 2 years ago and have used it a lot, it is starting to look a little worn, so I wanted to get a new one as a back up.

Easy to assemble

I love this stroller! It was easy to assemble, the wheels are heavy duty, and the instructions were clear. I'm 5'3" and the handlebar comes up to my chest
