I ordered these Henckels knifes to replace my decades-old chef, paring, and bread knives from a different manufacturer. The Henckels fit well in my knife block, are very sharp, and feel good in my hand when I am chopping, peeling, and slicing. ~ The knives arrived in a plastic package that was secure but scuffed. Also, the knives did not have any covers for the blades, which I think that for the price they should have had (i.e., in case the person receiving the knives did not have a knife block for safe storage).
