I don't know what's in this stuff, but it works great on greasy food spots, tomato based food spots, mustard, wine and the mystery spots that you don't notice until your clothes come out of the dryer. Even then, most of the set-in spots will go away after using this amazing product. It's also taken out the remainder of chewed gum (peeled 9ff) from a pair of jeans. It's better than the oxy-products, the shout and other pre-treat products. It works very very well.

Was happy to find this on Amazon as my local store stopped carrying it. I am famous for dropping stuff on my chest and if used within a reasonable amount of time almost all stains are removed. It is worth washing shortly after getting the stain. (Like that night) I have used it after a few days and it has worked but not all the time, however it works better than anything else I have tried.

I accidentally left a tube of lipstick in a shirt pocket and sent it through the wash. All my work tops had smears of lipstick on them. It took me a full bottle and over an hour's time to treat every spot of lipstick I could find before sending them all back through the wash again, but it was worth it. Most all of the lipstick stains were removed in that one wash. I ordered three bottles to have on hand for future "crises." Love this stuff!

Best spot remover I have ever tried! Tough on spots, gentle on fabric. It has removed all spots I have used it on. Specially those grease ones that I thought had ruined my silk blouse.
