Best, most absorbent, swab I've owned in 20+ years playing the flute. I think if I'd had this in high school, I wouldn't have needed to replace so many pads back then.

I've seen some reviews of people using this as a polishing cloth. This is not. It is meant for swabbing the inside of the instrument. It is both beautiful and has a great, smooth texture. I've been using a piece of cotton gauze-like stuff for two years and this is definitely an upgrade! It doesn't feel like it it going to fray or snag like a cotton cloth would.
