I am a type II diabetic. I only take one Metformin/day. These tablets help to control my sugar levels. If I am high ( especially from carbs like pasta) this can reduce my blood test by 10-15 points. I've used these for years. Just be careful if your stomach hurts. Remember it is an acid.

Well, they are great in that there aren't any allergens, fillers and what not, but what isn't so great is the chalky, hard, thoroughly difficult to swallow part. I've had too many get stuck in my throat and really hurt. I usually don't have trouble swallowing pills, but these aren't coated (which normally would be good), flat, round like a coin, and just won't go down easily. Sorry to say I won't buy anymore. If they came in capsule form, I would.
