My problem is that I have a hard time with bifocals (progressives completely impossible for me) due my job requirements. But yet I still need to read close at times and wind up straining like crazy and still unable to read small writing. Carrying a second set of glasses is either a pain, not practical, and often impossible. But the ThinOptics are awesome! Always on my keyring but never in the way! I can' speak for the durability just yet, nor how well the lenses resist scatching becaue I've only had these about a week or two. But so far, they hold up well and haven't scratched them yet! This was a brilliant idea and I intend to by another set for my backpack or places where I don't bring my keys. They're not a full replacement for reading glasses, but they are indeed great for me so I'm never stuck unable to read printed matter like labels in a grocery store!

I saw this on my Facebook feed and thought what an ingenious idea! Of course, I checked to see if Amazon carried it and read the reviews. Although, I haven't used mine yet - I can promise you there will be a day that I have left my glasses "somewhere" and I will have my keys and my ThinOPTICS and I will be able to see! Gives wonderful peace of mind when glasses are a must to be able to see clearly!

These keychain reading glasses are a great invention. As I get older and my vision gets worse, I will often go places without my normal glasses and be stuck not being able to read things. Storing the glasses in a holder that is small and hooks on to my keychain solves that problem. My keychain is always with me and now so are a pair of glasses.
I only have a couple of gripes. The biggest thing is while it easy to pop them out of the case it always seems hard to push them back in. Also the glasses will fall off if they aren't sitting on your nose just right. That part I can live though with because I presume to keep it small enough for a keychain they had to leave off arms and after a while you get a feel for the way they have to sit on your nose in order to not fall.

So handy for someone as forgetful as my self ! They clip onto the bridge of your nose quite securely but can slip off if your skin is oily.
I made the mistake of pulling them out in a theater setting & they flung away from my fingers ( so careful in a dark setting as they are not easy to locate) . They might not appear sturdy but they are; I have Not broken a pair & I'm tough with my things. Bought all the colors :)

Great idea and product. Love how compact they are. I don't keep them on my keys, but just slip them into my purse and they are always handy. No bulky eyeglass case to haul around. My only complaint is they don't grip the nose quite enough. You need to keep your head up to use them. The minute you look down they slip off. I've tried multiple positions/place on my nose with the same result. Still worth the purchase in my opinion.
