I ordered a 3X based on reviews of different peoples experiences. I am a size 22. When I first put them on, I noticed that they were super tight and it felt like they didn't go high enough up around the waist. Once I wore them in the water on my cruise, they got super loose almost to the point of them falling off. I had to constantly pull them back up. I received the capris in this brand as a gift and didn't have this problem at all so I don't understand what happened with the sizing of this. These will probably will end up in the back of my swimsuit drawer. I would have returned them but had no idea how they were until I wore them. I would have been happier if they stayed super tight.

Mixed emotions here. I love the fit and comfort, but the quality is lacking. Fabric is very thin, not the usual swimsuit material. Ive only worn them once for 2 hours in the pool and they are already showing wear and looking as if they are going to tear in certain spots. I wish I could get them in a better fabric.

I bought these swimming shorts to go with a black swimming top I bought at a local store (both pictured). They used to be the same black color... I don't know what happened to the shorts. They are now an ugly gray color with weird gray spots. I've used BOTH the same amount of times, since I obviously I won't go swimming without one or the other. I've worn them both a total of about 8 times and I can't believe how old and ugly the shorts look. I DON'T recommend at all! I ended up buying some new Catalina shorts at Walmart for half the price and they are holding up so much better! DO NOT BUY THESE!

I don't believe these are meant to be used in chlorinated swimming pools for any length of time. I have gone through 3 of these in just a few months, using them for daily lap swimming and water aerobics. I am 5'5", 130lbs and originally ordered the medium, which felt like they fit fine, were very comfortable and came to my mid-upper thigh. They are pretty thin and have no lining, but I still liked them. My first pair within 6 weeks frayed along the back seam. They were replaced free of charge (great customer service) Then those frayed after about 4 weeks. I thought maybe it was the size, so I ordered a large and tried again. In less than one month, the back again started fraying (or fibers seem to break apart, making it completely transparent) A real pity, as they were exceptionally comfortable.

These are perfect for plus size women. Good quality. True to fit. I have a huge stomach and had no problem fitting into a 2X (I'm 5'6" and 260 lbs). My thighs aren't as large compared to my midsection but I fit very comfortably in the pant legs which rested a bit above mid thigh. These are NOT loose shorts. They fit as close to your body as a swimsuit would but do NOT cut into your body at all. They are not lined in the crotch and are NOT see through. Very comfortable. Paired with the right swim top these will be great for swimming or any other water sport where a bit of modesty is desired. I would highly recommend for us big girls.
