The glass vial fit perfectly into our rain gauge. We thought we would have to throw the holder away when the first vial broke but we were so happy when we found this one on Amazon. Additionally, the numbers are bright and very easy to read!

A very nice large glass gauge. I had previously bought one that was almost 3X the price. Unfortunately my previous gauge blew over in my home made base. This one is just as nice, or nicer, with nice clear markings, and this time I made a base with a tighter fit.
