Wire is solid and seems like it will last

Wire is solid and seems like it will last. The kit is expensive, and should be included with my 3500$ automower.
Worked well

This kit is convenient. Comes with wire, pegs, and connectors. You may need more connectors once you start doing a bit of splicing--here they are: 3M (TM) Scotchlok (TM) Pigtail Electrical IDC Connector 314-BOX
The one drawback is that if you have shallow, rocky soil, it is easy to compromise these pegs, though I didn't lose more than a couple of dozen. Robomow pegs are much longer and sturdier--these tend to bend under pressure, which makes them unusable for further pounding of a mallet. If you don't have rocky soil, I think these will do fine. Best to have somewhat moist soil to make it easier to drive.
Lastly, if you make a mistake and try pulling up the wire, don't overstress the wire beneath the peg or else you can wear through the insulation and expose the bare wire, which will only cause problems later once it oxidizes. So check the insulation after pulling up the peg.
