Dollar for dollar, this is really a very nice item. I wanted something that I could carry a broken down 8.5 ft fly rod in one side, and a 4.5 ft spinning rod in the other. This fits the bill very nicely. Overall, the construction seems solid and a decent grade of material.
I did go to the hardware store and pick up some 2 inch PVC to put inside. This bag doesn't really offer any substantive protection, so now I slip the rods inside the PVC and I feel they are quite secure in the back of my truck.
