Great packaging. Came on time. It looks really nice but is bigger than a regular recipe box and is more of a show piece. The cards need to be tilted so the box will close. The wood is great and is well made.It is very sturdy and is quite thick.
Holds much which is what I wanted.

I like the divider in middle so cards don't fall over. Index dividers that come with it are nice & stiff. Attractive enough wood. Large enough to hold many recipes.
Would be perfect if wood used was not so thick. It makes box larger than it needs to be. It also feels like my husband will have to re-glue or re nail it in a year or so.

To me, "Recipe Box with Card Divider" didn't mean a built-in piece of wood inside the box, particularly since there is no picture of any such thing in the seller's description. BUT, that's exactly what it is, and there's at least one buyer out here who bought it for, among other things, its dimensions. Internal and external, just what I needed, and not at all for something related to food, recipes, or anything else you might want to put on an index card. The wood divider, built into the box, runs right down the middle of the box. Now I need to either cut part of the box away, or return it. Since the seller didn't include a picture of the inside of this thing, I'll do just that.
Just what I was searching for.

It is a beautiful box. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the first one I got had scratches and dings on the top but the replacement one was perfect. People commented that part of it wasn't finished but that is the type of wood, some is lighter and some is dark that is what I love about it. Using this for my bible memory verses for my family and love that it's made out of Acadia wood like the tabernacle in the bible. The index cards are thick and great. Over all I love this purchase..glad i went with a replacement instead of just returning
