The tools appear adequate, but the case needs help. It's difficult to get some of the tools out of the case and some of the little crap falls out of it.

4.5 stars. This set works great for taking apart most NES, SNES, and N64 games. I did have a few NES carts with different style screws (they had a round indentation in the center and a horizontal indent) and there was nothing in this kit to open them. Luckily, I had a tiny screwdriver for fixing eye glasses that worked. The carrying case is a great addition and the reason I chose this set over others. The only annoying thing is the little red screwdrivers had some really jaggy plastic bits, but that can be sanded off.

These "Gamebits" or line head screwdrivers from E. Durable really get the job done. The carrying case that the tools come in is extremely handy and the assortment of tools is fairly generous for the price. The tools are of a decent quality and will hopefully last for a little while. At this price I couldn't really ask for much more. If you need to get inside an old system or old games in order to clean them or verify that they are authentic (SNES game PCBs in particular) then these tools will do the trick.
