Initial light didn't work, replacement works PERFECTLY!

Ok... Allow me to apologize regarding my first negative review. I did have a faulty product, but the manufacturer went above and beyond to ensure that we were not dissatisfied and sent us a replacement unit that works perfectly and exactly as presented! I was very concerned that we could not return the item and did not email the manufacturer regarding my concern. Once the manufacturer read my negative review they immediately reached out and said they would send another unit for us to try. They did. We changed out the unit and it works exactly as they present. This is a very good unit and you will get a 10' radius (20') total light reach. The light is strong enough to see but not offensive to neighbors. The three settings work as presented. I'm very pleased with this company and their product and recommend it to anyone that would like an outdoor "solar" light for security and a light that is easy on the neighbors. Thank you!

UPDATE: I bought 8 and 2 came DOA, BUT.. they weren't. Their batteries were dead. This is what threw me off. The other 6 worked fine. I decided, before returning the dead one's, to leave them in the window to see if they charged up and sure enough, the next day, they light right up. Also, the response from the seller was great. They were quick to address my lower star review and offer help even before I solved the issue myself. Excellent customer service response that's rarely seen nowadays.
As to the product: Also excellent. They are well made and they're quite bright. I bought these to install around my elderly mom's house to make her feel safer now that dad's gone and she loves them. I tested them myself last night and they light the place up like a (white light) christmas tree as I walked around it.
The test will be time: Will they still be working in 6 mo? 12 mo? 2 years? We'll see. I'll update this review over time as needed.
Again: Great seller. Excellent product. Highly recommended.
Two came dead/broken. A 25% failure rate isn't very good. Let's see how the seller responds.
The other 6 worked as intended (which is why 2 stars and not 1). If the seller fixes the problem with the broken ones, I'll likely buy a few more. If not I'll take this down to 1 star.
I'll be updating this every few months regarding how well they're standing up to daily use as well.

The light has exceeded my expectations. The keys for me:
1. Reliability - I've had it for over 6 months and it still works great.
2. Brightness - It is brighter than I expected. It lights up the sidewalk & surrounding yard beside my house. Friends comment on how bright it is.
3. How it performed after multiple consecutive days of rain/clouds. The brightness dimmed, but it bounced back quickly with sunlight.
4. Motion Sensor - It has worked fine. Sometimes it seems more sensitive than others, but I'm satisfied.
5. Ease of installation - I used double-sided tape to attach it to vinyl siding. Quick and easy.
6. Recharging with limited direct sunlight - my light gets only a few hours of direct morning sunlight. That hasn't been a problem. Light remains bright & recharges.
7. Settings - the mode switch is on the back, which isn't accessible after it is installed. I have it set to turn on when it detects motion - as a security light. I have not needed to change the setting.
