Delicious coffee but temperature could be hotter.

With the crema head on the coffee and the espresso, the drinks produced by this device are tasty and unusual (for a home brewing machine).
A great number of coffee intensities and flavors are available. Easy to use. Only "negative" comment I can make is that, in my opinion, the temperature of the espresso is at an unexceptable 100-105 degrees F. And the regular coffee comes out at about 140 degrees F. Both of those temperatures are not, again in my opinion, hot enough for the average coffee drinker. Asking two baristas in town has taught me that their coffee is made with 190+ degree F water, and by the time it gets to me, it is still at about 160+ degrees F. Checking with the Nespresso company I am told that the coffee must be brewed at these lower temperatures to avoid burning it. And there is no "heat" setting on this model, only on the Pro model. I guess you could heat it up to a more acceptable temperature, but that would defeat the entire purpose of the machine. Nevertheless, it stills makes a very tasty cup of coffee and I am keeping it regardless of the my somewhat dissatisfaction with the temperature of the finished product.
Buy this insted of Keurig

This machine is perfect for me. Based on other feedback, I specifically ordered the Vertuo Evoluo machine. No leaks, hot coffee, all of our cups and mugs fit - we've had none of the problems listed by other buyers! The machine itself is VERY well built (much better than the plastic pieces on our Keurig), heavy and substantial metal. The packaging was a bit much, because I prefer less packaging and more recycling, but the machine arrived in perfect condition. I love the fact that the coffee packaging is recyclable - just order the bag from them online, then fill it and send it back. The shipping is pre paid. They look like a box of truffles! The coffee - there is a wide range to choose from - is as promised: strong, flavorful and with a full crema on top. This machine also allows you to stop the cycle early for stronger coffee or lengthen the cycle for an Americano style cup. Easy to set up and use, looks great on the counter. For the money, I would buy this machine over any Keurig on the market.

I am a Starbucks girl. Love my coffee. Only one other coffee shop beats Starbucks, Blackgold. Tried Kureg Rivo for lattes. Just ok . This Nespresso machine is Fabulous!!! The lattes are as good as Blackgold!! Smooth, beautiful shots every time. Just got this, so we will see how it stands up to the test of time. Love, love, love this coffee machine. Blows Kureg out of the water. Wish I got this long ago. Makes better shots than my espresso machine, easy peasy. Pods a bit pricey, the only draw back. But worth it. 😊
Very sexy and cool coffee machine!

I purchased this for the office.

If you drink coffee all day, this might not be for you. The Nespresso coffee is very strong, unlike Keurig (where you can select different sizes of water:k-cup) it only makes 8 ounce cups of coffee. The coffee is rich and has that cool crema froth on top.

I actually decreased the amount of coffee I consumed every day when I purchased this machine. One or two was enough each day.
VertuoLine Evoluo vs. Pixie - Pros and Cons

Nespresso GCC1-US-GR-NE VertuoLine Evoluo Coffee and Espresso Maker, Grey
I purchased Vertuoline Evoluo machine on last August 2016, and have been used it frequently (twice a day during the weekdays). So far, the machine works great and I am highly satisfied. Note that I also have Pixie (which is OriginalLine) at home. So let me compare these two to provide valuable review. But one thing first! I read many Amazon reviews on this machine, and one of the biggest complaint was "not hot enough" problem. And it scares me. However, with two months of usage, I did NOT have any problem with coffee temperature. The coffee was as hot as the espresso of Pixie.

Pros:
1) Shorter ready time - Pixie needs 25 sec while this one needs 15 sec. Not a huge difference but faster is slightly better.
2) Less messy - this is a great benefit over Pixie. After making espresso (or coffee), there is little residue and I don't have to clean the tray (a.k.a. cup support) frequently. Meanwhile, I need to clean the tray after 3-4 times use for Pixie. It is a huge advantage if you put the machine at your office.
3) Good for coffee lover - if you love espresso or latte or cappuccino, Pixie with milk frother would be a better option. Yet, if you prefer americano-type of coffee, this will be the great choice. Also, it has a unique flavor, hazelio, which does not exist for OriginalLine.

Cons:
1) No "more water" indicator - unlike Pixie, there is no empty water tank alert. You will hear irregular sound when you use the machine, and that is the time that you will figure out that it is time for adding the water, and it is inconvenient.
2) Maybe... a higher capsule price? - typically, one single VertuoLine capsule ($1.20) is expensive than one single OriginalLine capsule ($0.80). But when I drink americano by using Pixie, I usually add two espresso shots (i.e., $1.60). Meanwhile, I only use one capsule for Vertuoline, and I don't see the big difference in terms of taste.
3) No hot water option - I sometimes drink tea. So I use Pixie to get the hot water. However, this machine does not support this option.

In conclusion, I like this machine, and I believe this is especially good for office use.
