This was 100% an impulse buy while Christmas shopping. I saw it, said to myself "hey the little dude needs this" read the description and choose the correct size to weight, it does not have metal edges like a "real" snowboard and they explain this in the description so it was no shocker. It has a god amount of weight to it and is about 3/4" thick, the Velcro bindings are holding up good so far and are easy to use with gloves on. My little dude and his friends love it and I'm sure it will last a few years more than I thought it would when I bought it. Good product over all.
