Very Pretty But Buyer Beware!!!

This is a beautiful duvet cover. Pattern is lovely, washes with just a few wrinkles which iron out easily and feels very soft to the touch. Why only 2 stars? I washed it before using in a quick cold water cycle. The amount of blue dye in the wash water was crazy. It looked like a tub full of ink. The blue dye in the wash water changed all the other colors in the fabric. Before washing, the blooms in the pattern were off-white. After washing, they are now a light blue/grey and the entire contrast of the pattern is changed. Returning it because it's not as nice as it was before washing. I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE PURCHASING THIS DUVET SET IN ANY OF THE 3 COLORS USE COLOR ABSORBING SHEETS IN THE WASHER. PERHAPS THAT WOULD HAVE HELPED. REGRET I DIDN'T DO THAT.

The print is really nice, no flaws that I can see. The material is really soft and the first wash went well. I used hot water and put it in the dryer, no fading or shrinking. It is a bit thinner than I'd expect for the price and I see the shams tearing sooner rather than later. It's also a bit big for my duvet, which is from Ikea. I took the 1 star off for being thin material.

Very happy with this purchase. This duvet cover is just as beautiful as I had hoped. The material is a good quality cotton. There are ties inside in every corner to anchor in your duvet insert (if your insert has loops to tie in to). The color is a very beautiful, inky deep navy blue. It looks especially nice next to dark espresso finished furniture. It arrived neatly packaged in a little fabric tote bag made of the same material as the duvet and shams, perfect for nearly storing it or sheets in the linen closet. The pillow shams were of equally good quality. No regrets on this purchase at all.
