Probably shouldn't but they where to long and i was able to shave them down on the plug side probably 3/8 of an inch to be able to clear the lens. Works great and extremely bright

Replaced bulbs in my 2006 Chevrolet HHR center high mount stoplight with these. At first I thought they might be too long to fit but they fit perfectly and are bright. Worse part of the job was removing the plastic door trim. I'm pleased and hope they last a long time.

Super bright light, compared to incandescent that comes with most boats. Very bright replacement, installed on bow for navigation light have a few spares. Only had item a few months so I don't have a lot of hours on boat before or after hours to verify longevity of light. LED's are very well put together in an Epoxy style resin thar seems very durable and water resistant, toss a cup full of water on light after installation while light was active and seems to still burn bright!
