I have to agree with other reviewers about the lack of "trickling" sound. It happens here and there, but your surroundings must be absolutely quiet (meaning no other audio or something producing sound) for you to pick it up. As for the looks, it's very nice. I bought the Lighted Three Tier tabletop fountain. The one potentially troublesome thing I did notice is that some of the spouts on the tiered part pour water closer to the bowl rim than others. The base of the tier is sitting directly center in the bowl as well, so not much I can do about it. Hopefully, there won't be a lot of splash outside the bowl because of this.

I like the design. Ambivalent about the light. Could use a few more stones, but then it's fun to find and place my own. Only issues I have noted are that the tube isn't quite long enough for the pump to rest on the bottom of the bowl. Not a big deal - just keep the water level up. Gets noisier when water is too low so you can tell it's time to add water. One time it didn't turn on. I emptied and cleaned it and added fresh water and it was fine. My wife could easily make something like this from pottery, then I could add my own pump and have another (definitely more costly that way, but it would be a gift with meaning).

The media could not be loaded. The top put beautiful shimmery light on the ceiling, and love the large basin since I'm putting this in our green room outside (and water will evaporate). The minimal rocks provided leaves space to customize the fountain.
The only con would be that I wish there was more built in lights or the ability to change the existing light colors.
