Used this to reupholster a chair... I attached it with just the good old fashioned hot glue gun and I'm happy with the results. You do have to be careful when cutting because it will pull and unravel a bit- but seriously that should be expected I think. I was worried about the color because I wanted the brushed champagne kind of gold look (and not bright 1995 brass yellow) and this gets the job done and blends well with my champagne hardware
