This certainly cleared up the major issue of binding, but this steering shaft is not as "smooth" as the OEM. There was still some slight binding when turning, enough to be annoying, so I replaced the unit with an OEM and noticed the difference immediately. I would only purchase this unit if the OEM part is not available. It does work, but if you are putting this into a daily driver, it might become annoying. That said, I also do not think the life of this part would be very long under normal use.

Replace the stock shaft in my mark LT that kept binding and locking up. This part is smooth and makes the steering wheel feel like a brand new truck!
