I'd never neeeded a product like this before. However, since I started using invisalign retainers I necessitated some sort of cleaning device as my tongue was not as clean as usual. These are effective in scrapping the debris from your tongue and can cover a fair amount of surface at one time. One of the reasons I chose this product was because it seemed as though it'd be much more hygienic as it's easy to thoroughly clean the device (unlike a toothbrush or other item made of plastic) given it's design and the fact that it's made of stainless steel. Would definitely recommend.

No frills tool for daily use. It's solid stainless so it should last forever and has a nice feel in the hands and is easy to use on the tongue as expected. Cleaning is a snap and it comes with a sturdy plastic case for storage and travel. Highly recommend.

I first saw these in a related search while looking up questions I wanted to ask my dentist at an upcoming routine appointment. I just thought they were pretty fascinating, but wanted to see how helpful they are for myself. After a while of using one, I'd say they're pretty great! You can reach a lot farther back in your mouth to comfortably clean your tongue than you can with just a toothbrush, and we all know that mouthwash alone doesn't cut it. It might not really be necessary, but if you care a lot about your dental health, I think these are a must have. The travel case is pretty nice too!
