Lovely Gift, Not-So-Lovely Flavors

While I very thoroughly liked the presentation of this tea book, that's about all I could enjoy from it.
The tea book came pre-wrapped as a gift, making it so that if you were buying this for someone else you wouldn't have to wrap it at all. It's great for a quick gift idea without having to pay more for wrapping. The wrapping is why it didn't get a 1 star review.
The reason why this product only gets a 2 star review from me is because the teas didn't have flavor beyond being black or green tea. The only packet flavor I tasted any flavor beyond black/green tea was the vanilla flavor, and it was a very weak flavor at that.
Though I'm not a huge tea lover or expert or anything of the sort, I do know someone that is: I offered said person a packet, and they picked Earl Grey. They opened it and smelled it and immediately stated it didn't smell like Earl Grey at all, and was later told they didn't taste Earl Grey at all.
I was especially looking forward to all of the fruity flavors, and tasted none of them. I even tried a few flavors more than once to be sure it wasn't just one bad sachet, and can confirm it was with all of them.
The first photo is the mug I tried all of the tea flavors in; it is I believe an 8oz mug, so the tea isn't sitting in too much water. The second photo is a cup I drank the cranberry tea in once at 12oz (also tried in 8oz mug). The third photo is the book itself with the teas inside.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this tea set. While it's beautifully decorated for a gift, the main part of the tea book (the teas) have almost no flavor beyond being black/green tea. I hope the company can work on making the teas worth the price, as I can get more flavorful tea sachets for less elsewhere.

This makes a great gift! It came beautifully packaged - in a box, with nice packaging, both on the outside and inside. There are a total of 81 tea packets so they will last for a very long time. I bough this as a gift for my girlfriend who loves tea and she absolutely loves it. Highly recommend buying this for tea lovers!

This set is so cute and beautiful! I bought it as a gift for my colleague, but when giving it away I actually felt reluctant to part with it. It's so neat and luxurious you just want to hold it in your hands and look at it. Needless to say, my co-worker was ecstatic about the present. So if you're looking for a fancy gift to give, this tea set is what you need. In fact, I'm going to buy two more sets cause it's really a universal gift.
