Bought these to use with my new powertech setup. I like the grips on the handles and the rubber coating. Easier to use than standard olympic plates. I like having 25s like these.
Excellent weight set

Great Weight plates...But want to know how to clean them? Here is one way...
Travis S. - P.O.V.✓ Verified Purchase•July 28, 2023
The plates are awesome but I see why people complained about them being greasy. Any way...The grease is less of a concern for me on the plates as they are easy to clean. The smell is less of concern also. They have the smell of a new vehicle. It's not bad at all.
One of the best ways to clean the weights is by using a rag to clean the grease off with dish soap and water. Then you would use a 50/50 alcohol and water solution to wipe off any remaining grease. Rinse with water and repeat if necessary. I would do that with the larger weights such as the 45's,35's, and 25's. The smaller weights are easier to clean and saves time. The 10's, 5's, and 2.5's you can soak those in a good soap solution in a bucket they will fit in room temp water. Clean the smaller weights with dish soap water with a rag as if you are washing dishes. Don't be afraid to lather them up ladies and gentlemen lol. Then you would use the 50/50 water-alcohol mix to do extra cleaning if necessary. Then rinse with water, dry, and you are good to go. To be extra...using alcohol alone after cleaning would really make these weights grease-free.
