I ordered three of these units. I used one in my 1996 Chevy Blazer with an electric fan conversion I did four years ago. I first used a 185 to 165 unit I ordered a year ago. I needed the engine to get a little warmer... more to the factory specs on engine operation temperature. This one allows the engine to operate in those parameters. The other two are back ups or for other future projects. This unit is critical to the proper operating temperature of an engine. Product even has the temp range stamped on it.
