Zipper often gets caught in lining. Metal zippers are cheap and did not hold up. Zipper broke easily after getting caught in liner. I managed to keep one zipper working. Bag holds a lot of stuff. Inside and outside pockets are handy. Not made for heavy use. Should have returned it when zipper broke

This duffel is great! It shipped very fast, even with just standard shipping. I love that it has clips on the side so you can buckle it down to make it more compact or open it up if you have a hard time traveling light. :) I like that it has extra pockets on the inside and the outside. The material feels much sturdier than my old duffel too. I bought the gray one and I love it!

A canvas bag should be two things: durable and retro. So when I received mine, I stuffed it to the brink, put my knee on it and it zipped right up. Then I threw it on an airplane, took it to Arkansas, then Missouri and home to Chicago. It has inner pockets, it's lined and the leather handle is tough enough that you can put rocks in the bag and use it for kettle ball exercises. And did I say it was retro/cool looking? And one important fact, it's made veteran tough. That is, made by veterans, to be used by anyone but as a veteran, I appreciate it when my brothers-in-arms are put to work. And yep, this bag has some of that toughness in it, brass hardware, heavy duty canvas and stitching that any sergeant major would be proud of.

This bag started great, but after a couple of light uses, the external material tore away from the zip. It seems like a very poorly designed bag with many weak areas stressed by the placement of the handles.
Perhaps the item I recevied was defective, but I would not recomend this product.

Very wonderful bag with two external zipper sections, one zips down, one zips across. Also internal pocket. All are rather large and nice. Interior is lined and silky, there's no "divider". The whole bag is extremely well made and rugged. Very good for either a weekend or week trip. If not overpacked, it can be used as a carryon easily.
UPDATE: On first actual use of this bag, the seams ripped along the zipper (IT WASN'T OVER PACKED) and the pull tag for one of the main zippers broke away from the zipper head. Really disappointed with this, since everything else about the bag indicated very good quality.
