Great flavor and a good value. Yes, it comes in plastic, as does many other things. A good thing it does, because it was leaking when it arrived, a slight leak, bag contained all of it, no big deal, it was just the seal, that's why I'm glad it comes in plastic jar. Would have been a huge mess if it was glass.
