This horn is a great value. It works as advertised and I like the all-in-one replacement for my original horn. It does take up more space than I expected, making it difficult to find just the right spot for it. There was not enough room inside the fender where the original horn was located, otherwise, installation was rather easy. The single tone sounds a bit drab, but it does command attention. I did not upgrade the fuse or relay and have not experienced any problems.

Giving it 4 stars for now having just installed it today on my 2016 MB Sprinter van. Was able to install the compressor in the same location as the factory "meep meep" roadrunner horn (it was embarrassing having to use that thing!) using the factory mounting bracket, although I had to enlarge one of its holes to accept the bolt that came with the new horn. I removed the front grill and placed the horn directly in front of the radiator, mounting it to the beefy plastic structure to which the grill is fastened (drilled a couple holes and used the hardware accompanying the kit). Unfortunately, the selected install location meant the air tubing that came with the kit was about 12" too short so I paid a visit to a nearby Lowe's to pick up some 3/8 OD x 1/4 ID vinyl tubing (let's see how long this stuff holds up). Since the van already has a relay for the horn circuit, I simply swapped out the factory 15A fuse with a 20A fuse. I read several reviews where folks were disappointed with the horn's sound and volume and I suspect that perhaps they simply wired it up incorrectly or installed the horn (or compressor) such that the air tubing was kinked. I was careful today and tested the horn multiple times throughout the install to ensure I didn't screw something up. Overall, I'm happy"”the horn is very loud and aptly matches the size of my vehicle. The next door neighbors came out of their house when I let it rip for the first time. Will give it 5 stars if it holds up, otherwise, I will likely go for the Wolo 619...I'm not ready to make the leap to a full blown compressed air system.

I think for those less apt with cars or wiring, a premade harness similar to those that come with fog lights would be good. Being a mechanic, however, it wasn't a problem.

There was no mention anywhere on the current draw, and if I recall correctly I ended up using a 30A fuse after blowing a few smaller ones.

Otherwise, the horn is ALL METAL which I didn't expect, and was relatively easy to install. It's very loud and has a good tone. I've used it plenty and it hasn't failed.

Mounted easily behind the front bumper on my Ram and has impressed me thoroughly.

Be aware that the rubber O-ring on the trumpet may tear when tightening it into the horn, but some thread tape sealed it just fine for me in pace of the O-ring.

Great addition to my factory Chevy horn! This was easy to tie into the existing horn by tapping into the horn's hot and ground wires. It took some creativity to find a space to hide this horn, because it's pretty big, but it is horizontal between the grill and the radiator. It is LOUD! I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I am not disappointed with this horn one bit, i understand there are way louder horns but for $28, this is probably the best horn for the money, i was tired of people not hearing me in my c4 corvette, seeing as the stock horn in in the bumper with no grille, mounted this bad boy underneath the car and wow does it startle people, i can definitely be heard from a quarter mile away or maybe even more! I definitely recommend 12 gauge wire, and a 30+ amp relay with a the setup to get the full potential. And if you're looking into those dual trumpet horns sharing the same compressor, do know that in essence they will be running at half power, each horn should have its own compressor when it comes to these little 12v compressors, so the single style takes advantage of the full output it has to offer.
