Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for as far as material outside the rough griptape texture and looks good on my 1911 which came with a smooth front surface on the grip and now has a textured but still smooth adhesive material that feels good on the hands love it and product came quickly five stars.

I like the way it feels to your hand when gripped. But the biggest issue is that the adhesive wont stay on my 1911. I followed instructions. And Has not been exposed to liquids or any other besides sitting on my holster.I like it, just improve on the adhesive

I've used other brands like Talon but I really liked the quality of this tape and especially the amount I got for the money. It adhered extremely well, was very easy to work with on my glock handles and there was enough (a lot actually) left for me to use on a few knife handles! I'll be ordering more!
Doesn't stick too well even on clean smooth surfaces.

Even with thoroughly cleaning the surface using iso-propyl alcohol, the adhesive doesn't adhere very well and the tape peels up. I have a hard time getting it to stick for any length of time with the various applications I tried on my handgun and AR.
