I bought this for a totally different reason than most people. My energy levels were great when I bought it. I'm on a variety of supplements (through my Naturopath) including iron and vitamin D as I'm chronically low in those and when I take those regularly, as well as my thyroid medication of course, I have pretty good energy levels. If I'm not taking my supplements and am taking this, it doesn't seem to help with my energy even though it is low. (I always take my thyroid meds)

I was on the 800 calorie HCG diet. I used to lose about 1/2 a pound a day on this diet but was generally losing between 1/4 and 1/3 of a pound a day. I did the protocol for an unusual 58 days. About 3/4 of the way through I began research trying to figure out why, the only diet the ever really worked well for me, was no longer working as well as it used to. I read about the benefits of amino acids on weight loss. I've read a lot about N-Acetyl, L-Cysteine , Acetyl L-Carnitine, L-Glutamine, L-Glutathion, Alpha Lipoic Acid and that they aid in weight loss, (they are all in this supplement). I've tried many of these separately without any luck. But I decided to try this version as it had some that I'd never tried as well as others that I have. The day after I started this, I lost 1lb! I did it on average about twice daily, 3 sprays in my mouth under my tongue and 3 in over my tongue and I left it in for about a minute before I swallowed. The last 10 days of the diet that I added this spray I lost more than double what I'd lost the previous 10 days, at the END of my diet. Really amazing. I only did maintenance for 17 days and then went on vacation. I took it with me and ate whatever I wanted for 14 days. I tried to stop when I was full and was very active during the whole vacation and I only gained 2 lbs. Anyone who is familiar with the HCG diet will know how remarkable this is as I've always quickly gained back about 10lbs.

I don't always take it now, I just forget. But when I notice I'm gaining weight I start using it again and it really helps me maintain my weight when I'm not dieting. I've now ordered my 3rd bottle and bought one for my daughter. It started out at $30 and is now only $20 so that is a huge plus. Here is a site that tells of the benefits of amino acids. I'm guessing if you aren't low in amino acids it won't help. But if you are, this is amazing.
