I belong to a TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) and one night a member gave a program about Jackfruit. She had made a soup with Jackfruit and gave everyone a sample. I thought, "Does this have meat in it? It looks like it does." But it was the jackfruit, and it tasted good. I went online on my phone and ordered 3 cans of Jackfruit that evening. I have made soups with it, but the favorite thing I make it a BBQ sandwich, which tastes just like a meat and barbeque sandwich, but with no meat in it. When I take it out of the can, I have to mush it up to get it to look like brisket. But it is worth it. I am vegetarian and I love this jackfruit!
