Just got this coat and so far so good. It seems very warm but since the temps are in the single digits we put a sweater underneath. My baby is a terrier mix so he's short haired and we have him groomed because of the massive shedding. One note to anyone questioning sizing, we ordered an X-large because of the previous reviews. He's 21 lbs and 21 inches long and as you can see by the pic it just about covers his back. I do like the fact that it snaps closed on his belly so I don't need to pull it over his head. I also love that the hood is removable as every coat we've purchased with a hood is way too big for his head. As far as waterproof goes I'll report in after our upcoming snow storm. He LOVES to play in the snow so I'm hoping it performs well in that area. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

We have an old Maltese. This coat truly helps to keep him warm. It repels water pretty well but we have more snow than rain. The hood is removable which was important for us. Highly recommend.

Love this coat! I've found most coats aren't long enough especially for super cold weather. This is the perfect length- someone even stopped us on our walk and asked if it was a custom coat! Great for blocking out wind and water resistant. I put a small t-shirt on underneath and my dogs was warm and happy! It is not very stretchy so be sure to check the measurements before ordering. The hood can also be taken off. Highly suggest this coat!

Boy, oh boy... Where to start???
Quality must be important to the manufacturer because these two coats are built from the ground, up, with attention to detail; they're flawless! The exterior material is heavy duty, the interior is a heavy (but soft) fleece-like material. The snaps are metal and well mounted.

Take time (saving yourself a lot of trouble) and actually follow the sizing charts. These coats fit my two Yorkies perfectly. They weigh 10lbs each and I ordered Mediums.

Very satisfied with all facets of this product and urge the reader to feel at ease when ordering.

UPDATE: It's been several weeks of harsh, wet, cold and downright sloppy Oregon mountain weather. My Yorkies are basically country farm dogs and have put these coats through the "where the rubber meets the road" test. These coats are incredibly strong, durable and warm. The metal snaps are not going to break and hold-up under the worst conditions.

I get no compensation, or discount, for saying this... They are what they are; built like a brick you know what! If you have an 'active' little pal that loves to romp and roll, this is the coat!

My dog is not fat yet I found this a little tight. Might need one size bigger.
