This Product is frustrating. Its a great value for your money however it has serious security flaws. The accessories included are great, window/door detectors are small enough and stick great to any surface. There is a little red light that will blink when it looses connection with the magnet(door or window opening). They work well. The Motion detectors seem to function great as well. No false alarms and seems to be very compact for their function. RFID tags work good. Remotes while a little touchy have good range and seem solid. Alarm is loud. The base unit is awesome looking.... and this is where it falls short. The programing needs to be updated and fixed and I would seriously play $250+ for this unit. while the directions are bad and need to be deciphered, with a little bit of problem solving you can understand how the unit likes to be programed. Not a big deal to me, the unit is cheap. The issue is that the scheduled auto arm does not work at all. It will auto disarm but for whatever reason it doesn't arm. The biggest issue is that when the alarm goes off when triggered, a SIMPLE TOUCH ON THE STAY HOME BUTON TURNS THE ALARM OFF. I have mine triggered to SMS text me and then call me, then call all our employees numbers. If I were to set up a few SMS texts then start calling(must SMS first) someone could theoretically get to the device before the call and stop it from sending. It takes something like 22 seconds to send 1 text then ring my cell phone. Who wakes up for every text at 2am? For that issue I had to give this a bad review. This item is supposed to be a security item. Why stop short and mess up the software? I never got the app to work. Doesn't bother me, again I use the SMS feature to monitor, arm, and disarm remotely. Some of these reviews have to be fake. If you can get over the security issues, buy it. it doesn't false alarm and as long as I get that first call that's all I need. Also some people have complained that the SMS or calling doesn't work. Just wait 24-48 hours and it should work. Some Sim cards need to update with the towers for a day or 2 to become fully functional.

has a hum to it when plug in wall

This is my second alarm, both the same brand just diff models but I like them both a lot & they work well. Wish the siren was louder but I have one in my garage & in the house. Good investment

Absolutely Great for the price. I bought two just for more contact switches. Unit is basic but does the job
PROs - workswell, simple to install, Panel shows no wires and replaced a existing alarm panel nicely, easy to program sensors & remotes
CONs - Remote buttons not recessed (I scrapped one remote and used its case to make two remotes buttons recessed by adding onto existing cases), Flimsy plastic panel hanger causing false anti-tamper alarms (fixed with tape over tamper switch, increased thickness all works normally), External alarm just ok (I used external drive to trigger a full size siren), It would be nice to view states of sensors

It was easy to install, but I could could see some people not being able to. If you're not good with technology you might struggle, but it's doable. It has a lot more features than I thought, like controlling it via your phone. I just installed 3 days ago so we'll see how it does. The motion sensors are crazy good, very surprised. The lights on the keyboard are kinda not the best quality. Also installing the panel on the wall was a struggle.
The wired alarm is crazy loud, the panel one is decently loud, but not for a big house. Honestly seems like a good product, but I'd have to see how long it lasts
