Battery Information Is Wrong

The clock is cute, but product information is incorrect. The written instructions that came with the clock stated that it takes one AAA battery. The space provided for the battery would not accommodate a battery that size. So I had to take it to a clock shop, and they inserted a much smaller battery that worked. I had to pay an extra ten dollars.
Clock doesn't fit in casing = weird gaps around the edges.

I will probably be returning this. The casing and frame are very pretty, but the clock mechanism and backing themselves are very cheap quality and look kind of tacky, especially considering how pretty it is supposed to look. The glass is actually plastic, and looks like it was made for a different frame (probably to minimize cost), so it does not sit right in the casing. The casing is a little big for the clock part, so it sits on the frame, with a gap at the top, and no gap at the bottom.
Considering the price, it seems only ok, but not what I was looking for.

At first I thought this was cheaply made and was not impressed because the actual clock part with the numbers and hands is plastic. But, I got a battery, 1.5 volt, size N, put it in and set the time. That helped. And then, no matter where I put the clock, it would not stop being cute! Placed on a table alongside a potted plant and candle in the bathroom: adorable! Plunked on top of my jewelry box with a few trinkets: adorable! On the desk by the calendar and tissue box in the kitchen....well, you know! The clock is just so stinkin' cute! Adds a perfect touch of whimsy wherever it sits.
Incorrect Roman Numeral

The first clock I received was broken and didn't work. I returned it and got my money back. I reordered the clock because it is cute. After receiving the clock, I realized that the Roman numeral "4" is not correct on the clock. It should be "IV" not "IIII". I am very disappointed in this.

Well, I have to agree with the other one-star reviews here, this clock, while very cute, is very cheaply made and certainly not worth the price. I was looking for an analog clock for my nightstand and the looks of this clock are perfect. The casting quality is poor, the angle that the clock stands at is very vertical and not adjustable, and the clock mechanism is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! With a brand new battery, the clock ticked for 5 seconds, quit and never started again. I think I'm glad it died right away instead of six months from now when it couldn't be returned. This one went back.
