This clock movement worked like a charm and is still going strong. This was easy to install (my first time) and it keeps very good time. We were about to buy a new clock but could not find one like the one we had and then I discovered that I may be able to replace the movement, not a problem. Forgot that I ordered it without hands. My clock I fixed had hands that did not fit this. I am one that can tackle projects, so I made it work with patience needle nose pliers and E600 glue. Clock works great, but had to eliminate the second hand. But the motor is quiet, and it keeps time and that is all that matters.

Several years ago I bought a nice decorative mantle clock with a battery mechanism. It lasted ~ 8 years then finally wore out. I looked for replacement mechanisms at Michaels and AC Moore but no luck. I found this mechanism on Amazon sold by Lily Glory. The exact same product, same model number, same shaft color. The conversion was simple and it was an exact fit. I re-used the original hands for convenience. The item was shipped promptly and I received it in a timely manner.

I bought this as a replacement. It works quite well. I like the fancier hands too. The only thing that I did not like was the shaft is longer than the one on the original clock. I could not place the glass back on the face of the clock because it would hit the hands. the shaft is the same color (white).
