Most readable of the three I've tried, but takes a long time to come to oven temperature. Matches the temperature set for the oven, eventually. Same complaint about the CDN, which is harder to read. My old Cooper-Atkins, which died of a fall after long service, was faster, readable, but not as easy to make out as this one,

This no-nonsense oven thermometer works great. It seems that with oven thermometers is a hit or miss kind of thing. I first bought one made by CDN, the one one recommended by America Test Kitchen, and it was totally off (more than 50 degrees). So I went back to Taylor and I am very satisfied. The only problem is that now I can not blame the oven anymore when my baking fails...

Works good, never knew the REAL temp of my oven till now, but l have no idea how accurate it is, doesn't match my oven settings at all but that's why l got it, things l cooked in the oven was always under cooked and took longer, now l know why.

I use it to make sure that my oven is actually the temperature that it said it was. I found out that my oven is 25 degrees less than what it says. I keep that in mind while baking.

I was uncertain that my oven was heating to the temperature desired so I purchased this oven temperature gage. I found some discrepancy in the temperature of my oven which was very helpful. I had some difficulty reading the thermometer as the oven was hot and opening the oven to read it accurately let heat escape. Going to find a better placement in the oven so I may read the temp more easily.
