Bought these for my kids for their first trip, which was a good thing because they needed it on landing. It didn't fit as well as I'd hoped (it would keep falling out) and it's difficult to say whether it helped or not... but something is better than nothing. Otherwise make sure you chew gum to help with take off and landing.

As an adult who has Always suffered with pain when coming down in altitude, be it in a plane or driving down a mountain these little gems are a Lifesaver.
They either completely remove any discomfort or most of it.
On the occasion that I do feel pain and pressure its nothing like what I experience without these.
And they greatly reduce my recovery time.
I am small so I buy the children's size as they fit into my ears better.
I won't fly without them.

These work good if your little one doesn't mind their ears being messed with. Eventually with lots of crying I got these in my child's ears who was about 20 months old and she slept soundly through the plane ride. It would work better if they were attached to like a string so you wouldn't lose them with a wiggly child.

I've used Earplanes for over 20 years while traveling, and I rely on them to help with pressure when flying or driving in different altitudes. My ears don't pop as they should, but when using Earplanes I have no issues. That said, the products I received from Amazon were somehow different than what I've used before. They didn't fit well and they didn't work as usual to relieve pressure. My husband had a similar experience. I'd recommend buying elsewhere.
New and improved is not always better.

I have been using earplanes for years. I have under developed estation tubes and have to use the kid size. I purchase this new improved earplane for kids and did not like them at all. They were uncomfortable and did not stay in my ears. They were difficult to insert and stick out much further than the other ones. Uncomfortable with headphones. I will not buy these again, I will go back to the old child size earplane.
