First, this arrived much faster than promised, which is good because I rarely order anything that is not Prime eligible and I was worried about dealing with problems, but no worries on this item. It did have some chemical odor on arrival, and was wrinkled from folding. I washed per label instructions and it came out beautifully with no creases at all. The bedspread is not a comforter, it is two layers of fabric without batting, so for here in New Mexico it will be perfect for summer, but don't plan on this thing keeping you warm. It is reversible - both sides are identical except for the tags. Item is made in China, which is a down side and I was not able to tell from item information. I am very happy with the color, nice dark eggplant purple as was pictured. As for the size - I have a full sized bed on a low platform, bed height about 22 inches from floor. I bought the f/q size. This bedspread covers down to the floor all around and allows enough length to cover the pillows up the old fashioned way. If your bed is higher, or you have a queen, it would be accordingly smaller on the bed. I probably won't use the shams, they are not my thing, but they are nicely made, top is the same as the spread and the back side is plain matching fabric. No zipper involved. The "quilting" on these items is not done with thread, but rather by heat embossing the layers together. It looks fine now, but not sure how well it will hold up. I am happy with this so far - will update if problems arise in future.
Too small for beds---fits like a coverlet.

If only the bead spreads looked like the photo!!!!! Put them on the beds in our rental house at the last minute, only to discover that they are very skimpy. They are at least 30 inches too narrow and do not even begin to reach the floor. My beds are regular length with a mattress and springs on a frame. The spread only covers the mattress. It should be called a coverlet. Too late to return. I'm stuck with it.
Love it.

This is such a beautiful cover and I ama very pleased with it. There were not issues with the stiching on the cover as some reviewes pointed out but the pillow cases have sticking problems, hence the 4-Star rating.

I washed the set upon arrival and everything held up pretty well. I forgot it in the dryer and was surprised to see that there was not one wrinkle after being left in there for 2-3hrs. This morning, woke up... BAM... Magic. The darn thing was wrinkle free.

Was it warm and comfortable? My husband puts the temp at 66° before going to bed. The dude has no blood, I swear... Again, I was very surprised to have had a good night of sleep. I was warm and very comfortable. This cover is so thin that I thought I was going to get very cold in the middle of the night but that did not happen. Very, very pleased.

There is nothing misleading about the "oversize" description for this item. My bed is tall and all comforters I have only reach at the bottom.of the mattress leaving the box spring and the side board exposed. This set is HUGE and it covers most of the box spring on my bed. I have an abnormally tall bed. "Abnormal" as in my 6'1 tall husband struggling to get on it and my 5'5 self having to jump to get up there. So, I am very pleased at how this set covers. I am sure if we remove the box springs, as we should, the cover will cover at least half of the side board. This set will most likely reach the floor on regular beds.

Pictures: The lighting suuuuuuucks. The color is olive green, not what you see on my pictures. I don't even know what color that would be, so don't judge the color based on my pictures. It is not as bright as the color shown on Amazon though but I am ok with that.
Doesn't really fit a full/double bed

I wish I could give this a five star review because the color matches the photo perfectly, and the material is actually very nice for a thin coverlet.

However, they don't actually have a full size. The packaging lists twin, queen and king only. This listing says it's for a queen/full though, which is deceptive if you plan to put this on a double-sized bed. It's WAY too big. It's supposed to be over-sized on a queen, so it pretty my drowns a full. My bed is up against the wall though, and this shade of orange is annoying to try and buy so I just put the extra material on the side you can't see and went with it.
Just what I was hoping for......at first

I wasn't sure about this, because reviews were so mixed, but so far I am pleased with my purchase. I bought the queen size spread for my full size bed and I am glad I did, because a smaller size wouldn't have covered as well as I like. Some people have complained that the spread is thin, but for anyone like me that remembers real bedspreads that covered the bed down to the floor, not quilts or coverlets or whatever, this is what a bedspread was like. Bedspreads weren't heavy like a quilt and they were nearly floor length, plus you had enough length that you could bring the spread up and over your pillows and tuck it under them, which I can do with this one, although I do wish it was a little bit longer. Overall this fits the bill, and I don't understand why it is so hard to find regular bedspreads anymore; not everyone wants a heavy quilt and/or wants to use a bedskirt because the quilt won't cover the boxspring, let alone whatever you may have under the bed.
I bought the eggplant color, which goes very well with my charcoal curtains and white with charcoal flowers sheers. Some people mentioned a chemical smell to their spread, but mine didn't, so I was able to put it right on the bed. The only complaint I have so far is that the material seems to be a dust magnet; lots of static in the fabric, too. However, the dust is easily removed with a lint remover. Hopefully it will do fine in the wash. If anything changes, I will update my post.
UPDATE: I noticed that the quilting on the shams was defective, in that it was missing in several areas. It is not stitched with thread; instead it is what they call heat quilting. I contacted the manufacturer to see if they would replace them. They asked for the order number, which I sent to them.....and over a week went by without hearing from them. When I contacted them AGAIN, I was told that it would have to be handled through Amazon, since it was ordered through them. Long story short, Amazon agreed to issue a partial refund, which is fine, but I am still not happy with the seller.
